Narrated by Abu Musa, it was said to the Prophet:
"A man may love some people but he cannot catch up with their good deeds?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Everyone will be with those whom he loves" [Bukhari & Muslim].
Al Mula Ali Al Qari explains:
"This hadits means: he will be resurrected with the person he loves, and will be his friend until the final destination (heaven or hell)" [Mirqatul Mafatih: 8/3135].
So, look who is your idol?
If he is a good and pious person, hopefully you will accompany him to heaven.
If he is a depraved person, a sinner, or a disbeliever in Allah, then fear Allah! Maybe you will accompany him to hell. Na'udhu bil-laah min dhalik.
May Allah give taufik.
